Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a successful, professional services business who are based close to the Chesterfield/Sheffield border, in prestigious newly refurbished offices.

The Project Administrators are key members of the team, working closely with associate directors, team leads and team members to provide support in a number of ways.  Alongside general administration duties, quality assurance and data control, the varied role includes assisting the senior team with the preparation of design reports and presentations.

This varied role will include the following:

  • Manage project document control
  • Maintaining project correspondence
  • Typing and distribution of documents in both electronic and paper format
  • General administration and office duties
  • Maintain project/quality assurance folders to audit standard
  • Assist project team in the printing/scanning/distribution of drawings and documents to internal and external recipients in electronic and paper form.
  • Save all outgoing document files using a clear and consistent file-naming process.
  • Assist project teams, anticipate busy periods and deadlines
  • Booking travel arrangements for the team

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications, skills and expertise:

  • Strong organisational skills with a meticulous and thorough approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate they have self-initiative and work efficiently and effectively within the team
  • Ability to pick new skills up quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident, friendly, and proactive approach.
  • Experience working with document control systems would be ideal and previous experience within the construction sector would be preferred
