Production Planner

Description

Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturing company who supply their specialist products internationally.

They are looking for an experienced Production Planner to manage the bespoke MS Excel based MRP system.  This system manages inventory control, lead times for raw materials, procurement, stock management and planning etc.

You will take responsibility for the building and development of this system – therefore you will need to have advanced MS Excel.  On a day to day you will be using formulas, conditional formatting etc.  You will also be responsible for developing Power BI dashboards and create reports into a presentable format with dashboards, charts etc

Required Skills and Experience:

Must have excellent IT Skills and be able to work in Excel and build upon the existing Electronic Management system to include all aspects of process, production , packing and procurement, inventory management and stock control.

Able to communicate well, work in a small but fast paced environment and able to deal with pressure and work to deadlines.

Good organisational skills and be a team player.

Ideally have previous experience in a production control and/or supply chain role

This is a fully office-based role, working Monday – Friday 08.00 – 16.30
