Sue Ross Recruitment are delighted to be working with a successful international manufacturing company based North of Sheffield for a bilingual Customer Service Specialist role. This is a full time role for a fixed term of 12 months and will involve hybrid working. Working as part of a small team the role requires candidates to speak both English and a second language fluently. This language would ideally be German, French, Spanish or Polish and you must be confident speaking to customers in both languages.

Daily duties and responsibilities for this role include;

  • Placing customers sales orders in a timely fashion
  • Receiving and handling complex customer needs via incoming mail, telephone, and/or electronic contact regarding the organization’s products and/or services
  • Handling all levels of complexity in orders (including export paperwork and certifications).
  • Having a pro-active mindset and supporting the Team overall, ensuring positive reinforcement in the team
  • Contributing actively alongside Senior Customer Service Specialists
  • Participating in key meetings upon request
  • Responding to a wide scope of inquiries and/or complaints and liaising with the necessary departments where relevant.
  • Assisting with reviewing and coordinating customer service activities as required or directed by management.
  • Developing and reviewing correspondence and documentation as appropriate regarding interaction with customers and responds to questions and concerns.
  • Building customer relationships and serves as a liaison between sales personnel and customers
  • Performing other duties as assigned

This is an expanding team and you will focus your attention on providing high levels of customer service, combined with the attention to detail and professionalism expected of such a high profile organisation. Hybrid working is encouraged and this will involve a 5 day week Monday – Friday office based Monday-Wednesday and remote working Thursday-Friday and vice versa alternate weeks.
