Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturing company in the recruitment of a Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.

The role would involve managing a team of around 10 warehouse operatives and overseeing operations for the entire goods in and out warehouse.

Key duties:
·        Motivating and Engaging a team of Warehouse Operatives
·        Supporting a culture of Customer Centricity
·        Completing and supporting People Management tasks
·        Achievement of a 24-hours delivery model
·        Ensuring inbound deliveries are put-away within 24-hours of arrival
·        Adhering to H&S Best Practice
·        Seeking and managing improvements
·        Leading the team to fulfil customer requirements and the 24-hours delivery model
·        Regular 1-2-1s with Team Members to monitor development and engagement
·        Ensuring put away of inbound goods within 24-hours
·        Allocating daily work and longer-term projects amongst the team
·        Monitoring achievement of KPIs and Departmental Objectives
·        Involvement in People Management tasks e.g. return to work meetings, appraisals
·        Identifying staff skills gaps and ensuring personal development
·        Communicating with Hauliers and other key stakeholders
·        Use of internal systems for managing discrepancies, delivery input etc.
·        Resolving stock discrepancies and complaints
·        Monitoring and acting upon any Health and Safety actions or concerns
·        Use of SAP to invoice, create delivery notes, manage stocks
·        Contributing towards process and general improvements in Best Practice
·        Contributing to Departmental Strategies
·        Covering of holiday periods for Warehouse Logistics Team Leader
·        Communicating with internal customers

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Team Manager who is able to display great people management skills; in particular motivating, engaging and developing staff.  You must also be able to demonstrate a customer centric attitude and outlook.   Experience within a warehouse/supply chain management role is highly advantageous but not essential.
