Description

Come and work with us!  We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and personable Recruitment Co-ordinator to join our like-minded team, on a fixed term contract of c.9 months to cover a period of maternity leave.    To  allow for training and continuity purposes, we are looking for the successful candidate to start towards the end of September 2024.

Sue Ross Recruitment is one of the region’s most established, independent recruitment agencies. Now in our 27th year of business, we have an excellent reputation within the local business community. We place candidates in temporary and permanent roles across a variety of vacancies and industries.

Based within our permanent division, you will work closely with our two Permanent Consultants.  You will support them in a wide range of duties, focussing on developing our candidate database, so that we have the best candidates registered when the vacancies come in!

Key Duties include:

  • Reviewing incoming applications
  • Contacting candidates, pre-screening and arranging registration interviews
  • Conducting registration interviews with candidates
  • Conducting catch-up calls with existing candidates
  • Obtaining and verifying right-to-work documents
  • Writing and posting online job adverts
  • Sourcing candidates for specific vacancies using online job boards
  • Liaising with candidates to discuss their interest in various vacancies
  • Setting up new vacancies on our internal system
  • Arranging and confirming candidate interviews

This is a fast-paced, varied, and interesting role. We recruit for a wide range of vacancies, so you can expect to speak with candidates who are at different stages of their careers —from recent Graduates to Senior Management Professionals.  It is essential therefore that you are a confident communicator and a genuine ‘people person’ who is engaging and loves talking to people to understand their career hopes and aspirations.

On a daily basis, you will work with a range of MS Office applications, therefore you must be a competent user of Excel and Outlook.

Although previous recruitment experience is advantageous, we welcome applications from candidates who match the above criteria but have recent experience in other administrative based roles.

This is a fully office-based role, working from our gorgeous offices in Blenheim Reach at Banner Cross on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield.    We have free on site car parking.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, with an hour for lunch (we are a stone’s throw from Endcliffe Park for a lovely lunchtime stroll, or alternatively, we have a lovely kitchen-diner to chill in)

We are open to discussing reduced/part-time hours.
