QA Technician

Description

Sue Ross Recruitment are currently working with a specialist manufacturing and distribution company who are recruiting for a QA Technician to support them during their peak time.  This role would suit a recent graduate with a Science based qualification, or someone who has previous QA experience.  You must be a good communicator and be able to work in a busy environment.

This is a full time 38 hours per week role, working on a rotated shift pattern, at times this includes overnights and some weekends.  This is an ongoing temporary role, with the potential for the role to become permanent.  

Key duties and responsibilities include;

•             Testing raw materials, various products and finished goods
•             Maintenance of the Quality Systems and procedures
•             Performing calibration tests
•             General laboratory maintenance
•             Ordering of consumables
•             Dealing with quality issues within Manufacturing
•             Working in accordance with Health, Safety & Environmental regulations
•             Reporting and liaising with the QA Team Leader & QA Manager

The above is just a guidance to your duties. To be considered for this role it is essential you have a minimum A Level standard Science qualification or similar.  Relevant working experience is preferred, although not essential.
