Sue Ross Recruitment are working for the UK’s market leader in audio visual services for ‘once in a lifetime events’. We are excited to be recruiting this great opportunity for a keen and proactive Media Product Manager. You will guide the company media product strategy across products such as Visual Experiences and Live Streaming as part of key consumer facing products and offering.

This is a firmly established key area of the business, with basics securely in place, however, a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced candidate to drive customer experience and innovation forward.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Maintain a deep understanding of our users and their expectations of our solutions, including hardware, software and IT
  • Ensure Media Products solutions stay aligned with the company’s overall strategy
  • Develop a product vision and strategy for how these products evolve to maintain and grow our market leading position in this market.
  • Monitor the performance of Media Products
  • Maintain a product roadmap and an improvement backlog, with detailed specifications
  • Work with desktop developers, testers, delivery managers, customer technical support and customer relationship colleagues to manage the delivery of improvements and new products
  • Launch new features and product improvements out to market through Customer Success, Customer Services, Marketing and Go to Market teams
  • Support with Change Management for anyone impacted
  • Help understand risks and issues
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders throughout the business

 

Required Experience 

  • 3+ years of product manager / owner experience in a relevant software/hardware environment
  • Understanding of software/hardware technical solutions
  • Ability to set a product vision and strategy based on customer needs and insight
  • Desire to improve and create through innovation, to drive product evolution
  • Experience writing user stories, requirements, maintain backlogs, roadmaps and operating in an agile, scrum environment
  • Experience of working with technical teams, customer experience teams, marketing and customer facing channels
  • Good project management understanding
  • Full UK driving license
