Sue Ross Recruitment are recruiting for a Learning and Workforce Development Officer on behalf of a public sector company based in the centre of Sheffield.   The role will be a combination of both office and remote working.

This role is a temporary position to start asap and is on an ongoing basis;

Duties will include;

  • Providing support in relation to learning and development within the company
  • Assisting with the delivery of qualifications, development programmes and apprenticeships
  • Developing and delivering a range of induction and training material
  • Researching, planning, delivering and evaluating training and development courses
  • Sourcing and working with external training providers
  • Administering a wide range of courses, accredited programmes and learning events
  • Providing up to date monitoring data for managers
  • Providing assistance to the Qualifications Centre Manager
  • Assisting with qualifications centre quality assurance ensuring standards are maintained
  • Maintaining and updating online training portfolios
  • Administering apprenticeships

To be considered for this position it is essential that you hold a learning and development related qualification at level 3 or above with an award in Education and Training (or equivalent).  There may be a level of flexibility on this if you have experience within the sector.

This is a temporary role with an immediate start and will be on an ongoing basis. Therefore you should be available to start with little or no notice required. There is the opportunity for the candidate to apply for the permanent post.   Although our client is ideally looking for someone on a full time basis, they will also consider applications from candidates who are looking for part time work.
