Sue Ross Recruitment are on the look out for a highly skilled IT Technician to work with their client, a leading business support firm with offices in the S20 area of Sheffield.

The role of the IT Helpdesk Technician is to offer end-to-end technical support to their internal users. As well as dealing with local issues, you will be supporting internal projects if necessary. The role will require support to end-users, using a variety of mediums including support over the phone, online, in-person, and occasional on-site support.

Help desk technicians need to have an excellent understanding of computer hardware and software. The role will require a methodical problem-solving approach with an aptitude for learning and quickly adapting new skills. Patience, resourcefulness, and a desire to help others are desirable virtues in this role.

Key Skills Required:

  • 1st and 2nd line IT experience in a Windows infrastructure
  • Windows 10 support skills
  • Office 365 experience
  • Active directory experience
  • Software & hardware troubleshooting
  • Printer troubleshooting
  • Install and configure software
  • Updating documentation
  • Previous helpdesk experience
  • Good administration skills
