Sue Ross Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, a charity organisation, in the recruitment of an HR Assistant. This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract position with the possibility to become permanent.  To be considered for this role, it is essential to be CIPD or NVQ Level 3 qualified in Human Resources subject or equivalent professional experience.  This role is remote working, however occasional travel to the office in Chesterfield is required.

As the HR Assistant you will providing centralised admin support to the HR team and key duties will include;

  • Carrying out general office duties
  • Delivering a timely and efficient service throughout the recruitment and selection process
  • Maintaining accurate staff records
  • Providing support with HR casework as required
  • Working closely with the Payroll and HR Team
  • Maintaining the HR Staff Database and to accurately record changes to staff details, staff absence etc
  • Supporting the HR team in booking and running events, venues and organising induction, training and meetings
  • Updating the HR pages of the website/intranet
  • Support HR projects including new policy implementations

This role would suit an organised individual with experience of working in a busy HR environment. The successful candidate must be able to prioritise their own work schedule, communicate with a variety of people and have a good working knowledge of Payroll and HR Systems and processes.
