We have just been instructed by a local government authority who are looking to recruit a Temporary HR Advisor on an ongoing basis.  Working as part of the Workforce Development team you will work closely with the Workforce Development Officer to oversee the full remit of the department.   Although a temporary role, this role is being advertised on a permanent basis and you are welcome to apply whilst in post.

You will be joining the welcoming and friendly HR Team and key duties will include;

  • Providing advisory support, guidance and assistance to staff in relation to organisational delivery
  • Assisting with the development of policy and practice within the organisation
  • Contributing to the delivery of organisational development related objectives
  • Providing support to the HR Business Partner with the review and monitoring of employee learning and development
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of learning and development interventions
  • Supporting the design and progression of organisational skills audit
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of workforce and resourcing plans
  • Conducting research and reporting findings to the HR Business Partner
  • Assisting with the implementation and review of the personal review system
  • Assisting with the organisations performance review process
  • Ensuring adherence to equality and diversity and health and safety policies

To be considered for this position you should have experience gained within a similar role, ideally including learning and work force development and exposure to working with Unions.

This is a temporary role with an immediate start and will be on an ongoing basis. Therefore you should be available to start work straight away. Although our client is ideally looking for someone on a full time basis, they will also consider applications from candidates who are looking for part time work.

The role will be a combination of office and remote based work.
