Commercial Property Manager

Sue Ross Recruitment are seeking an experienced property or estates professional looking for a new challenge, working in the heart of Sheffield City Centre on a temporary contract 6 months as a Commercial Property Manager.  In this role you will contribute to a holistic, strategic, and proactive approach to asset management—ensuring buildings, tenants, and contracts are managed efficiently and to the highest standard, including a range of legacy properties and land.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in strategic purchasing agreements and best-value initiatives.
• Assist in proactively managing the property portfolio, including lease negotiations, renewals etc.
• Work with the legal team on leases and licences through to completion and prepare land-registry-compliant plans.
• Carry out inspections of tenanted units to ensure statutory compliance and maintenance obligations are met.
• Support procurement activities such as contract negotiation and tender management

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in property, estates or asset management.
• Knowledge of leases, landlord/tenant obligations, compliance, and property inspections.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work proactively across legal, finance and operational teams.
