Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a well respected firm of chartered accountants in the recruitment of a Accounts Senior to work with their clients within the charities sector.

The Accounts Senior will be a key member of the Corporate Department. You will be the first point of contact for the client and will be responsible for managing the completion of their accounts assignments. They will also be responsible for keeping management up to date on the status of their work.

As an Accounts Senior, your typical daily duties will include;

  • Maintain and develop technical ability by attending webinars and keeping abreast of technical development;
  • Preparation and completion of Limited company, Charitable company and Society accounts;
  • Ability to use Xero, and other accountancy software;
  • Ability to reconcile all control accounts;
  • Supporting colleagues with queries;
  • Preparation of management accounts;

Requirements;

  • Experience of preparing charity accounts is essential;
  • Be approachable to members of the team;
  • Clearly explain technical points to the team;
  • Must have a good amount of Limited company accounts experience;
  • Ideally a proficient user of CCH Accounts Production;
  • Experience as senior overseeing others;
