Sue Ross Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading international food courier service.  Our client is looking for a territory account manager experienced in managing relationships with existing accounts and developing new partners to work with, from small independent businesses to huge restaurant chains. The successful candidate will have the excellent opportunity of helping to grow our client’s business across Yorkshire with a strong sense of ownership. This role calls for a combination of operational mindset, savvy number-crunching and exceptional relationship management skills. You should thrive in an “all hands-on deck” environment, love solving problems, relish in a start-up culture, and above all be passionate about our restaurant partners.

Role responsibilities:

  • Driving business performance in Yorkshire
  • Building the best business offering and optimizing their operational performance
  • Identify and initiate new partnership opportunities with top customers in your territory
  • Tackle or escalate complex support issues for timely resolution for our partners
  • Champion deep relationships with partners, identifying and acting on opportunities to grow their delivery business
  • Drive on-the-ground knowledge and context about the city you operate into the wider team
  • Act as an ambassador for a thriving company and their mission, brand, and products.

The ideal candidate should hold skills including;

  • Previous experience in a sales/account management role
  • Ability to take initiatives and easily adapt to constantly changing work environments
  • Desire to work with restaurants and building a strategic partnership
  • Being proactive and creating positive and lasting relationships
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to persuasively communicate recommendations and effectively champion customer needs
  • Highly autonomous and able to work with minimal oversight
  • Project Management: Good organization & time management skills
  • Ability to compute number and land on a data-based strategy
  • Problem solving skills: when you see a problem, you work hard and think out of the box until you fix it
