Sue Ross Recruitment are working with our client based in Sheffield City Centre, who are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager.   The member of staff will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all the Customer Service functions, managing a team of 4 staff members across different websites. 

This role is initially a 3 month Fixed Term Contract, with the possibility of it becoming permanent.  Our client are able to consider candidates on either a full time or part time basis.  

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and strong leadership skills. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Customer Service Manager position, coupled with good management skills is essential for this role.

 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities Include;

·         - Answering calls promptly and professionally at all times

·       -  Handling customer queries via phone and emails

·        - Process orders and raising credit notes

·        - Delegating work to other members of staff

·        - Monitoring the departments performance

·        - Ability to communicate and work with all departments in a medium sized business

·        - Maintaining standards associated with Customer Care and Quality initiatives

·        - Managing staff performance through objectives and performance management tools

·        - Training and development

·        - Ensuring that volumes of work are completed to a high standard

·         - Appraisals for members of the customer service team

·         - Reporting to the Senior Management Team

 

Our client are seeking a well organised, self-motivated and hardworking individual.  Previous experience as a Customer Manager is essential to be considered for this role.
