Export/Logistics & Sales Support Administrator - Sheffield - Don Valley

Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading engineering company  in the recruitment of a Logistics and Sales Support Administrator. 

 

This is a very varied and interesting role where you will be responsible for co-co-ordinating the shipment of all export orders.   You will prepare all the required documentation to ensure that shipments are compliant.     

 

Other duties include: 

 

  • Producing WIP lists 
  • Liaising with Sales & Production to confirm despatch dates 
  • Arranging the collection of goods 
  • Conduct price comparisons for carriers  
  • Liaise with customers to provide order updates 
  • Processing orders onto the Movex system 

 

Strong communication skills are essential as you will liaise between the customer and internal departments i.e. production, despatch, customer service etc.     Excellent administrative skills are also required as you will input, process and monitor all orders using Movex software, raise specific export documentation etc. 

 

Applicant must have a working knowledge of export shipping procedures, together with recent administrative and customer service skills.
