Events Manager - Sheffield City Centre

Sue Ross Recruitment are currently working with a specialist charity in the recruitment of an Events Manager. The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver all events for the charity, source and manage relationships with events partners and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the charity’s events. 

 

Key duties will include;

 

  • Manage, innovate and develop an existing annual programme of events
  • Maintain and develop relationships with providers, facilitators and consultants who can provide high quality and affordable training 
  • Assess and develop new delivery methods for events
  • Implement robust evaluation and improvement plans across all events
  • Monitor pricing structure for all training and events which allows fair access to support members
  • Source venues which are cost effective, well located and to suit attendees needs
  • Develop and oversee the charity’s online booking system for all training and events
  • Line manage the Events and Administration Assistant to ensure coordination and effectiveness 

 

The successful candidate will have similar previous experience and flexible working weekends. This client is currently based in South Sheffield but is relocating to Sheffield City Centre in the next few months.

You will be responsible for managing an established grant funding programme. This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked in a trusts and foundations environment and is looking to progress with a new challenge within a charity.
