Customer Services Officer - Sheffield (S4)

Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading engineering company in the recruitment of a Customer Services Officer. The key objective will be to provide outstanding experience for all customers, giving the best possible service, advice or solution in a timely manner.

 

Key duties will include;

 

  • Handle front-line telephone and written contact with customers, consumers and sales staff
  • Order editing and order entry as appropriate 
  • Provide advice and assistance to customers in the most appropriate format to meet their needs
  • Receive and process ‘follow up’ information
  • Liaise with colleagues in different departments
  • Identify situations requiring specialist information
  • Provide necessary administration support to resolve customer queries 
  • Provide general administrative support such as mailing, faxing and photocopying

 

The successful candidate will have similar experience working in a fast paced customer service role, will be computer literate (previous use of SAP is advantageous) 

 

Working as part of a team the shared aim is to deliver first class customer service whilst understanding and working towards the Company’s business and financial objectives.
