Sue Ross Recruitment are working for a well established and successful student lettings company in the recruitment of an Office/Operations Manager. 

 

Reporting to the business Directors, you will be responsible for implementing systems, procedures and policies across the business. You will be the go-to person for all staffing and HR issues as well as having responsbilty for signing off tenancy agreements, payments to contractors and landlords. 

 

You will also manage most aspects of administration operations – ensuring the smooth running of lettings, property management and accounts, as well ensuring adherence to compliance and industry standards.

 

Key duties will include: 

 

  • Supervising staff and improving policies including handling HR issues 
  • Overseeing propety certification – ensuring property safety and legal compliance objectives are met 
  • Acting and authorising transfers to landlords and contractors 
  • Signing off tenancy agreements 
  • Reviewing and implementing new IT procedures 
  • Marketing including events and social media 
  • Website management 

 

This is an extremely diverse role and requires a confident, organised and enthusiastic individual.  You must have relevant property management and staff management experience.  You must also have a full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle.
