Sue Ross Recruitment currently have a fantastic opportunity working with our client, a leading global organisation with offices based in Sheffield, for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join their team.   Project Managers assist with the co-ordination of all aspects of event planning, organisation and delivery of projects from small, individual exhibitions stands to large scale multi-project programmes and events.   You will have the ability to liaise confidently with clients and suppliers, whilst demonstrating sound operational and financial management skills. 

 

The purpose of the role is to coordinate all elements of project delivery and event planning, whilst providing a first-class service by meeting objectives and exceeding client expectations. Based within the Sheffield office, the role involves extensive travel both in the UK and overseas (up to 90 days per year). 

 

Reporting to the Operations Director, duties and responsibilities include;

 

  • Liaising with show organisers in all aspects of event planning and organisation 
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with primary contacts to facilitate negotiation and involvement in future projects
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers in all aspects of event planning and organisation
  • Liaising with clients; establishing client brief, co-ordination of tender documentation, preparing quotes and presentations etc 
  • Project implementation – scheduling from contract award through to completion, liaison with designers from concept to construction, ensuring builds meet specifications, on-site client support/event standby.
