Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a national charity in the recruitment of a Marketing Communications Manager. 

 

In this role you will contribute to building the charity’s reputation through leading, planning and delivering an engaging programme of internal and external communications with all stakeholders, inspiring them with a shared, ambitious vision for the future.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Producing the communications plan and strategies
  • Communications project management 
  • You will write copy and produce, or arrange the production of, multimedia content (documents, graphics, videos, animations) 
  • Act as a Brand Guardian, managing public facing channels such as the website and our social media channels
  • Build relationships through delivery of compelling content across multiple digital and offline channels according to stakeholder needs and preferences including: colleague and family newsletters and e-newsletters, website, intranet and social media content
  • You will support operational teams to build personal relationships by assisting at events and meetings as required.
  • You will support the recruitment team to deliver its colleague recruitment targets through delivery of compelling recruitment materials and campaigns
  • Manage data and be accountable for GDPR compliance of communications
  • Recruit, direct, motivate and lead any colleagues permanently or temporary under line management.
  • Support with the preparation and monitoring of relevant budgets.

 

Applicants will have strong marketing communications management background, ideally gained within a not for profit organisation.   You will have broad experience in copywriting for a diverse range of target audiences, experience in planning and delivering multimedia communications as well as planning and delivering external communications plans.    We seek applicants with experience working with the media and external marketing agencies.
